Some people believe that the Bullmastiff has the blood of this breed. Others state that the breed was developed by introducing the gene pool of the Bullmastiff. It may be that both breeds appeared at the same time. What is certain, the breed has close ties to the Bullmastiff. A dog breeder may visit rescues to find a new puppy.
